Episerver Debuts in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce

Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

Episerver™, a leading provider of digital marketing, content management and digital commerce solutions, today announced it is one of 21 vendors evaluated in the latest Gartner®, Inc. Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce1.

Its inclusion marks the company’s debut in the Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce, a milestone Episerver believes reinforces its market presence, company viability and product capabilities, which are the criteria Gartner uses to determine vendors’ inclusion in the research.

In the report, Gartner states: “Digital commerce platforms enable organizations to build B2B, B2C or B2B-to-consumer (B2B2C) commerce sites and support a continuum of business objectives, from the generation of incremental revenue to the enabling of transformational business change. Digital commerce has become a major part of the customer experience, one that involves a growing ecosystem of technologies, vendors and services.”

Episerver is recognized in the report for its combination of web content management (WCM) and commerce capabilities, an approach that delivers richer digital experiences, cost benefits, and simplification. Episerver, a Leader in the July 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management, is focused on providing a unified experience for digital commerce and digital marketing professionals, and serves both B2C and B2B customers.

“We believe the seamless nature of our Digital Experience Cloud™ is essential to providing rich, relevant and contextual digital experiences,” said James Norwood, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy for Episerver. “We consider Episerver’s inclusion on the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce and as one of only three vendors to also appear on the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Content Management as confirmation that Episerver delivers a very powerful platform for content, commerce and marketing to empower both merchandizers and marketers alike.”

The Episerver Digital Experience Cloud is a single platform for creating, managing and optimizing digital experiences including powerful content management, digital commerce, and enterprise search. An end-to-end cloud solution, Episerver enables high availability and performance, easy connectivity with other cloud services and existing systems, ability to manage spikes in customer demand, and a flexible and agile platform that can seamlessly adopt emerging technology updates.
