Episerver named a Web Content Management Systems Contender by Global Independent Research Firm
Episerver and Ektron Highest Scores in Evaluation Include Multichannel Delivery, Content Authoring and Workflow, and Mobile Web
Episerver, a leading provider of digital marketing and e-commerce solutions, today announced it has been named a contender in Forrester Research, Inc.’s latest Wave report on Web Content Management Systems. Episerver was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in its “The Forrester Wave™: Web Content Management Systems, Q1 2015,” report, dated Feb. 4, 2015.
In this evaluation, Episerver and its Digital Experience Cloud’s developer support and cloud hosting experience were noted in the report as “standout features.” Additionally, the report states that Episerver “has a strong partner strategy to sell and serve customers in 30 countries as well as more than 24,000 developers registered in its network. This kind of traction indicates that companies use the product in a broad number of scenarios.”
Episerver’s cloud offering is a managed service, which is used by more than 1,800 customers. The report comes on the heels of the recently-announced merger of Episerver and Ektron, creating a new global digital experience leader of scale, with potent technology capabilities and a broad partner ecosystem.
Ektron was also invited to participate in the report and named a contender Ektron standout features cited were: strong multisite support (eSync), APIs (Digital Experience Hub) and extranet support for business customers.
