Episerver Reports Breakout Year in 2016
Now Influences $18 Billion in Online Revenues, Helps Organizations Send 28 Billion Emails
After a year of major investments, Episerver, a global provider of a single platform to smartly manage digital content, commerce and marketing in the cloud, reported on a breakout 2016.
The company’s advancement is fueled by increasing demand for its cloud solutions, which now influence approximately $18 billion in online revenues while supporting email broadcast volumes in excess of 28 billion. During the year, the company also recorded its first omnichannel campaign management customer to achieve a broadcast volume of more than a billion emails in a single month, demonstrating the extensive scalability of its cloud solutions.
Through a series of strategic investments in artificial intelligence-backed personalization and omnichannel campaign management solutions, Episerver has scaled its capabilities and expanded its product offerings to bolster its value for content management, commerce and digital marketing customers. The company now offers integrated machine learning-based predictive analytics, personalized email, event triggering and big data management, and a search relevance engine inside its unified cloud platform to support continuous and consistent individualized engagement throughout the customer journey.
Episerver’s expanded capabilities have caused a surge in global demand for its Digital Experience Cloud platform portfolio, and the company added over 1,600 cloud customers worldwide in 2016.
“The significant investments we made in 2016 have not only helped our customers achieve their goals, but have elevated us as a leader among digital experience solutions,” said Mark Duffell, president and CEO of Episerver. “We foresee Episerver’s growth and expansion of offerings continuing into 2017. With a market-leading unified platform, an enviable and growing partner network, and vast developer community, our products and capabilities continuously grow and adapt to meet the need for organizations to deliver powerful and seamless digital experiences, fast.”
As the company has grown in support of its global customer community and associated developer ecosystem of more than 36,000, it added 200 employees in 2016, and expects to add a further 200 this calendar year. Episerver’s vibrant implementation partner network of almost 900 organizations across 30 countries, also expanded with the number of additional Episerver focused partner resources growing faster and beyond the company’s own growth in workforce.
