Episerver Adds Six Dedicated Resources, Increases Commitment to North American Partner Ecosystem
Major investment in talent and programs will grow and develop the partner channel to meet significant ongoing demand for digital commerce and content management solutions
Episerver, a provider of a single platform to manage digital commerce, content management, and digital marketing in the cloud, announced today a series of new North American partner investments including the addition of six people to further its momentum and specifically to meet growing demand for its Digital Experience Cloud platform.
Episerver will add new partner development, channel sales support, and technical enablement resources, as well as increase its partner marketing team and associated program spend, and significantly, appoints industry channel veteran Dominic Citino as Vice President, North American Partner Development.
In his role, Citino will be responsible for recruiting new and developing existing partners within the Episerver North American partner ecosystem, and brings more than 15 years of retail, sales and marketing, and strategic alliances experience to an already strong and dedicated team that includes Karen Chastain – recognized as one of CRN’s 2016 Women of the Channel. Most recently a leader in global partnerships and alliances at Rackspace, a managed cloud computing company, Citino was also instrumental in developing Sitecore’s Global Partner Program following digital marketing, industry-specific and product management positions at Microsoft and Oracle.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Episerver, whose North American growth and opportunity is clear. Its commitment to developing and supporting the success of the partner channel will undoubtedly further their momentum,” said Citino. “I’ve admired Episerver for some time, and believe my experience building and accelerating similar partner success programs elsewhere, coupled with Episerver’s already comprehensive cloud, content and commerce strategies and talented partner team will make for an awesome combination.”
The Episerver Partner Success Program differentiates by offering a full approach to partner engagement spanning dedicated sales and marketing resources, the Episerver World community, which boasts some 30,000 registered developers, and one of the most comprehensive and stringent education and certification programs in the market, all to empower partners to strengthen their own capabilities and serve joint customers effectively. The Partner Success Program is designed to make it easy to work with Episerver through a rapid roadmap to success that includes sales and technical enablement, on-going education, channel operations support, co-marketing and field engagement.
“We’re investing more than ever before in our valuable partner relationships this year – both in terms of adding new partners as well as increasing the resources available for existing partners with focused practices like RightPoint, Luminos Labs, Verndale, Whereoware and DigitasLBi,” said Mark Duffell, President and CEO of Episerver. “We have one of the best structured partner success programs in the industry, and this substantial new investment, including the appointment of Dom Citino will not only set our program apart even further, but will ensure our continued North American expansion.”
Episerver remains the only global provider of a commercial Microsoft .NET and Azure cloud platform-as-a-service (PaaS) that allows merchandizers and marketers to manage catalogs, content and campaigns all in one place – a real opportunity for design, implementation and strategy partners to build a differentiated practice that delivers agile customer engagement through rich digital experiences.
Another essential partner resource Episerver is investing in is its Episerver Certification program, which ensures all partners are trained in its commerce and marketing capabilities. To date, Episerver has awarded 239 certifications in 2016 and aims to award 500 by the end of the year.
