Episerver and Silverpop Join Forces to Connect Multiple Touchpoints, Improve Time to Conversion

Partnership breaks down barriers in digital marketing ecosystem

ATLANTA and CHICAGO , February 12, 2013: Episerver, a global software provider for innovative digital marketing and e-commerce solutions, and Silverpop, the only digital marketing technology provider that unifies marketing automation, email, mobile and social, today announced plans to integrate their platforms. The integration will enable marketers to more effectively manage their online presence and deliver timely and relevant content to their target audience and continuously connect the interactive communications of an individual with the web site experience of the same individual, drawing from the rich set of digital behaviors in the Silverpop Engage database.

Individuals are increasingly expecting the digital world to know who they are across all touch points, and this partnership enables marketers to treat every individual customer or prospects to the perfect digital customer experience. Most importantly, this partnership makes the job of the marketing department easier because the best tools are now designed to work harmoniously together. Marketers will be able to deliver highly personalized content to the right audience and get a complete view of how the visitor moves through the entire purchase path.

Episerver 7 CMS, the first content management system to allow marketers and editors to create content that works seamlessly across channels, allows users to strategically manage their online presence by creating, managing and optimizing any number of sites for global or local markets.  With this integration, Episerver users will be able to access and work with Silverpop, adding advanced marketing capabilities around lead capture and nurturing.  The partnership, which originated from Silverpop’s own use of the Episerver CMS platform, will make marketing data within Silverpop Engage available in Episerver’s advanced personalization engine, and will enable users to strategically tie together marketing efforts and improve efficiency while increasing conversion rates through suggested and personalized messaging.

“There’s an increasing need to measure all digital interactions quickly and to make this data instantly actionable across all channels, adjust content and messaging according to real-time results and improve conversions.  By seamlessly integrating the Episerver web experience management solution into Silverpop Engage, these complexities melt away,” said Will Schnabel, senior vice president of global business development for Silverpop.  “By delivering a more integrated digital presence our customers will improve the experience for their customers and prospects and more efficiently increase their revenue.”

“We’re proud and excited to be working with Silverpop, as it is an important step toward building upon the capabilities of our platform,” said Bob Egner, VP of Product Management at Episerver. “This partnership allows our customers to further utilize marketing and lead nurturing capabilities through an integrated approach, combining the marketing capabilities of Silverpop with Episerver’s streamlined content creation.”
