Episerver, a leading provider of a single platform to smartly manage digital content, commerce and marketing in the cloud, today announced details and opened full registration for its annual customer and partner conference in North America, Episerver Ascend 2017.
Some 800 digital marketers and commerce leaders are expected to attend Episerver’s annual user conference, in a highly anticipated event that will take place at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas from February 26 to March 1, 2017. Among those attending will be a significant presence from Episerver’s worldwide network of more than 880 partners and 8,800 customers. The conference offers attendees opportunities to expand their network, meet with key Episerver executives and experts and amplify the value of their investments in Episerver’s growing suite of solutions.
The upcoming conference will feature nearly 100 sessions across six separate and comprehensive persona-based tracks, including hands-on labs, customer led presentations, and product and industry expert discussions, creating what will be Episerver’s largest and most educational conference yet. Ascend 2017, which is sponsored by global partner Microsoft and 25 other Episerver partners, will also feature a solutions and partner exhibition hall, an Epi Code Bash competition, and a panel of industry analyst guest speakers and Episerver Digital Ninety-Nines. In effect, the event will give attendees access to some of the industry’s best and brightest digital experts.
The conference’s programming is tailored to business leaders, developers, and marketing, content and commerce professionals alike at various levels in their organizations. The event will offer strong commerce and personalization themes alongside deep content management and digital marketing threads, applicable to all attendees whether they sell online directly or indirectly, whether they are a full commerce operation or trying to “sell” their brand. Sessions will focus on both big picture and tactical ideas, including new and emerging technologies revolutionizing digital content, commerce and marketing as well as case studies with takeaways for anyone implementing a digital transformation strategy.
The company also revealed the first of its headlining speakers as Scott Hanselman of Microsoft who will deliver a keynote titled “JavaScript: The Cloud, and the Rise of the New Virtual Machine” that will explore the relationship between the cloud and the browser, translating from many languages to one, how it all fits together and what might come next. Hanselman is a web developer who has been blogging at www.hanselman.com for over a decade. He works in Open Source on ASP.NET and the Azure Cloud for Microsoft. In addition to producing three podcasts and a YouTube channel, he has written a number of books and has delivered speeches to almost a half million developers worldwide. Prior to his work for Microsoft, Hanselman created the first PalmPilot Diabetes Management System and sold it to a healthcare company.
“We are once again excited to bring together leaders, strategists and practitioners who are all helping to digitally transform their organizations through a combination of content, commerce and marketing strategies,” said James Norwood, chief marketing officer and executive vice president of strategy at Episerver. “This year, we are aligning the goals of executives, developers, content editors, marketers and commerce managers even further by allowing them to select their own track through our persona-based sessions. Our goal is that everyone who attends Episerver Ascend will leave empowered and inspired with the knowledge to elevate their campaigns and digital experiences to the next level.”
