We, or an outside agency working on our behalf, would contact you only if we want to invite you to participate in a study or need to clarify information you provided.​

Optimizely runs a variety of study types. You may be invited to participate in any of the following:​​

Remote usability study​

In these studies, we’ll gather feedback via a screen-sharing session with a researcher, during which you may be asked questions or provide feedback about a process or design. You may be asked to complete tasks and provide feedback while screen recording independently without a researcher at a time that's convenient for you. You can be almost anywhere in the world, all you need is a high-speed internet connection. ​

​Conversations/observations ​

These studies require 30-60 minutes of your time. Optimizely researchers will ask you to respond to questions or take notes based on your experience using a product.​

​Surveys​

For these studies, you simply fill out a survey form. ​
